An announcement of sorts

This feels a little lame, making this sort of announcement here rather then standing up in front of you all and telling you in person. Still, my Mom's going to be here soon to pick me up and I wanted to let you all know now, rather then later.

Due to certain events on the weekend (I'm sure someone who was there can fill you in on the details.) I'm giving up the air scrubber. I've been using it for awhile now and at first it was the best choice their was for controlling something I had very little knowledge of, or ability to contrain.

It's become more of a crutch now and in truth it was only ever meant to be a stopgap. I know some of you are probably not going to like this, especially since I don't yet have the ability to always have full control over what I can do.

However, I will never have that control while I allow myself to hide behind technology. (This all sounds terribly dramatic, doesn't it? I'm sure I'd have had less to say in person. It's easy to get into the long flowery speeches on a journal.)
