The week in review
Nov. 22nd, 2010 11:26 amSo, to sum up this week as I look over the journal entries.
Being ill educated is no excuse for being an asshole. (And yes, Jean-Phillipe, I did just swear, out in the open even. I felt it was needed.)
Having said all that, I will say that I know what it's like to make hidious mistakes and then think that brazing it out will either make people let it go, or think about something else. It never actually works that way, and you mostly just end up making it worse.
So, just appoligise when you do foolish or hurtful things, and then don't do them again. It's a really simple equation and people will think better of you for it.
As to the ill educated, we live in a school. If you want to learn something there are many, many people who can help you with that. Don't use ignorance as some sort of excuse, it really doesn't make people more willing to give you a shot.
