Graduation and Parent's Day.

So, what is the tradition around here re: Graduation? Also, my parents have both decided to come to Parent's day. (I'm so not sure how that's going to go. Dad and Mom haven't been in the same room for a _very_ long time.)

I dunno about everyone else but I've got about nine billion pictures that my family is gonna want, probably some back-pounding from my dad and dinner at like, Olive Garden or something. Somewhere nice, I guess.

Hmm, I'm not really sure how dinner would go with my folks.

Not that they wouldn't behave, I suppose. Dad's been doing pretty well with the whole 'being responsible' thing lately. It's sort of nice he's making an effort for me, I can tell he's not always comfortable being 'Dad'.

It's still so _weird_ sometimes. I'm sort of afraid to ask Mom how she really feels about him now.

Threats don't really work on my family. I think we all share some kind of 'stubborn' gene. Well, both my parents are incredibly stubborn, and so I've got like a 'super' stubborn gene.

Oh! And I completely forgot the picture thing. I still think the cap and gown look super silly on me.

That's a shame. You can always ditch them and let them fight it out alone. They'll look pretty ridiculous hanging around fighting while you've taken off with friends or something.
