How can she do this?

One of my Professors just gave us new work. We're meant to be studying for finals, not doing entirely new work. ARGH! Somebody fetch me my bow.

I'm pretty sure she can do that 'cause she's the prof. And because she's evil. Will they make you take your finals still if you're in jail for murder?

You're making the assumption that they'd catch me. I can be very sneaky when I want to be.

How many people kill with a bow? I think process of elimination would get you pretty quickly.

Yes, but then they'd promptly forget they ever saw me. Being a mutant has it's advantages.

See, this is a great example of when someone shouldn't have power.

I'm not entirely sure what you're saying here. Do you think I'd actually do something like this? Or that someone like me who could do this should be nullified simply because we have the ability to do something and talk about it?

I was asked a question and I answered it. Unless you actually think me capable of killing my Professor over a few extra assignments.

...

And now this is a great example of taking a comment way too seriously for no reason. You're really into being an example today, huh?

An example of what, Kevin?

At the moment? Overreacting and lacking a sense of humor.

[identity profile] x-wallflower-.livejournal.com 2010-12-09 06:02 am (UTC)(link)
I have a perfect sense of humour. I'm just...tense right now. I need to get good marks on these finals and I'm trying not to overwork myself, which means I have way less time then a lot of my other classmates who seem to think not sleeping is the way to go about things.

Sorry if I snapped. :(

If you're that tense and snapping that easily then maybe you a) shouldn't interact with people unless necessary or b) take a few hours to go chill out before you bite off a head someone wants to stay attached.

Not inteacting with people would mean locking myself in my room for weeks, and I'm taking breaks. This is taking a break actually, I'm sitting on the couch in my suite reading news sites.

Ah, the wonderful, whimsical world of academia. If you'd like someone to cast a thoughtful eye over your work prior to its deadline, I would- of course- be happy to lend a glance.
