Because I just did a perfect run with my archery. Everything I aimed at, I hit. It was truly, truly amazing.

Alas, I shall never do it again. (It's sort of the way of these things. I figure, you only get one perfect day ever.)

Are you still using the myomer reflex-deflex one I made for you, or have you gone back to the primitive wood-and-sinew anachronism?

Still using the one you made me. (I'd be silly not to.) But I go back to the wood-and-sinew one every so often to make sure I can still hit things without the tech help.

They actually generally refer to it as practice. Target shooting, no matter what you're shooting at it, can go flawlessly if you're at it enough. One perfect day isn't all you get if you've put in the work.

I try to practice most days, at least for an hour. There's an archery range a little ways into the forest behind the lake. Cain set up targets and everything. I suppose you could use it for gun practice as well but I don't know of anyone other then Mr Garrison who owns a gun here.

I do, but I prefer actual gun ranges. I've got a bow as well, and a crossbow. My point was more in you being able to hit your target, though. Perfect days with a weapon are a matter of knowing it and being able to use it, not getting your lucky one day and never having it again.

I suppose you're right. It's been an absolutely perfect day today though, even the weather. If you wanted to practice with your bow, I try to go either mornings or evenings if you're up for it.

Sure, I'm up for it any time.
