Elfquest! I'm not usually one for fiction but I really liked this one.

Discuss! Or you know, review your own book. Give me things to read. Watch me nap. It's all good. Amanda? I hear you're in the mansion at the moment, when Pete's sleeping, want to come visit? I'll even attempt to be coherent.

Better reading material would be great. Actually, do you have any history books on magical practices? Just the history though, magical theory I'd like to learn but I'm not about to go trying to use anything.

(I may kinda like knowledge for knowledge sake, just a little.)

Eh, I'll see what I can find that's in the mundane area - most of what I have is for practitioners, or Farouk's borrowed them. There's also not just one magical practice, which means I could possibly bury you in books and have Jean on my arse for overloading you.

Actually, you could always try asking Prof Farouk for his angle - he's a non-practicing historian type too. ;)

I don't think he likes me much. But I'll try. He might have suggestions for me to read. I'd rather not end up summoning something with more arms then legs due to a misunderstanding over opening a book I shouldn't have.

Magic books don't really do that, do they? Summon things just by opening them?

Oh! I also need to talk to you about cheap places to stay in London. Backpacker type deals. I'm planning a bit of a long trip once I'm better.

You'll have to ask him about his whereabouts. Now he's promised not to go haring off on his own, I'm not his keeper.

I'll see what I can come up with - my idea of cheap accomodation in London used to be a doorway that didn't get too much wind or rain. *wry*
