When I do stupid things like trying to do All the schoolwork at once, that I'm not super woman, and thus do have to sleep at least some time each night.

Talked to my school people and I'm cutting back on units this semester so I can fit everything in. Which means it's going to take me longer to finish but I can try and catch up a little during holidays if I really want to.

I'm not _entirely_ sure I want to though, since holidays are meant for non-work things like actually catching up on sleep and doing Red-X things and other stuff I no longer have time for outside of X-men and school and things vaguely related to both like Medlab duty and being girl Friday to Bishop. I don't think I even saw outside during the day for at least a week last semester.

I am totally Laurie! I am just Laurie's sensibility. (Sort of like Jack's liver from that movie where the guy beats himself up, only less violent and disgusting.)

I blame my inability to buy a clue on my over-achievement gene. It's all Mum's fault, I'm sure. (Although don't tell her I said that, or she'll not let me have any of her plum pudding at Christmas.)

Fight Club is an awesome movie and don't you say otherwise!

Damn if I know, I don't have my school assignment yet - I mean I know where they're gonna send me because dude, it's not like most people are clamoring for the schools that get kids from the DX and I put the high school down for my high priority pick but other than that I got nothing. Won't know for a couple of weeks yet.

Hopefully they won't make you take the seniors your first go out. They'd eat you alive. (I say this in an entirely caring manner, I'm sure you know. But yeah, eating alive.)

Also, Fight Club was...good. It was just also disgusting and using human fat to make candles is not something we should be encouraging people to do.

Maybe it's the fact that we get beaten up regularly as part of our job, but I'm just not sure what's fun about forming an underground club to do it.

I'm just more of a 'And now I have to repair all that damage to that person's face' type person. When you're the one having to sew the person up, or have your hands in their guts afterwards it's not so much fun.

You at least I never have to worry about having to patch up later.

It was the challenge. And besides, being a black belt in Jujitsu means I don't _have_ to get into a prolonged fight if I don't want to.

The better I am at getting out of a fight quickly, the less I have to worry about injuries, either to myself or the other guy.

Oh yes. I figure he expects that since I've taken my blackbelt test I should have actually learnt something about being an adult.

I find that's usually the best way to deal with Master Lee. (I do actually listen, I promise but the man is the Master of Zen ass kicking, I'd be too scared to argue any points. )

I do indeed find that keeping Master Lee happy by not interrupting the flow of his lectures is a wise course of action.
