You know, I was trying to think of a pet we didn't have in residence and I finally figured out what it was.

We need a pot bellied pig. Named Pablo. Pablo the pot-bellied pig. Go on, you know you want one.

Of course, we also don't have cows...or sugar gliders. Or a Budgie named Harry. Or a lamb, Oooh. Baby Sloth! Can I have a baby sloth?

What is this summer's construction project? I'm not terribly good with tools, I have to warn you. I usually manage to hit my thumbs more then I do the nails.

Not any more so than any other animal so long as you keep them clean. I had a friend in high school with one. She called him Prosciutto.

On the other hand? Sloths smell like ... well, it's bad, that's all I can say. At least, the one at the zoo at home does. Oh my GOD you would not believe the stench.

I figure it's one of those 'Only if you don't keep them clean' things. From what I know, sloths don't move much, or do much of anything a lot. So they would smell after awhile. Baby sloths wouldn't have had time to be smelly!

People keep sugar gliders as pets? I thought they were a protected species.

Not in America they're not. I've seen breeding websites for them.
